Irish Government - Emigrant Support Programme
The Emigrant Support Programme reflects the Irish Government's commitment to supporting and strengthening the global Irish community. Managed by the Irish Abroad Unit in the Department of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with Ireland’s Embassies and Consulates, it funds projects that build and support Irish communities worldwide.
Thanks to this funding, the Emerald Centre is able to promote Irish identity and support elderly Irish members in Leicester and Leicestershire, providing a community hub open 7 days a week.
