Emerald Centre facilities

We offer our facilities for hire to community groups, training providers, football teams, and private functions whenever possible.

Bar and Meeting Room

Our bar and social area, along with the meeting room, are available for a variety of events and functions. Rates start at £15 per hour, which includes bar service by our friendly staff. To book or inquire further, please contact Mary at 0116 2769186 or via email at marymcelwaine.llif@yahoo.co.uk.
A £100 deposit is required to secure your event date.

Sports Pitches

The Centre features three sports pitches and is home to eight football and Gaelic teams. Changing rooms and showers are available. Please contact us for booking details.

Community Garden

Our community garden, developed and maintained by dedicated volunteers, offers a welcoming space for relaxation or participation in gardening activities. Gardening is known to help reduce anxiety, and we welcome volunteers of all commitment levels. Whether you want to get involved or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings, the garden is here for you.

Irish Studies Library

The on-site Irish Studies Library, managed by the Irish Studies Workshop Group, provides valuable resources for research and education. It is an excellent resource for university students and school children exploring Irish heritage.
